Charlotte County values the hard work and dedication of every employee and has developed a variety of employee recognition programs: 月度最佳员工, 年度最佳员工, 荣誉的角落, 委员奖, “当场被捕”, 服务奖项, 策划活动. Many of these awards are based on internal nominations; however, citizens can submit nominations for the 月度最佳员工.
目的
The purpose of the Charlotte County 员工认可 Programs is to provide a process for nominating and selecting employees who exemplify our core values and have made significant contributions to the mission of Charlotte County. 奖 include 月度最佳员工 and 年度最佳员工. These awards are individual awards and only individual employees can be nominated.
资格
Eligible employees for 月度最佳员工 and 年度最佳员工 are part-time or full-time employees who have been employed with Charlotte County BCC for at least one year. Employees are eligible to receive annual awards no more than one (1) time in a two-year period.
民选县官员, 县管理员, 副县长, 县法官, Deputy/Assistant 县法官s, 部门主管, 志愿者, 实习生, 临时员工, 合同员工, and Employees provided through an employment agency shall not be eligible.
月度最佳员工
提名: Nominations will be submitted to 人力资源 on the corresponding nomination form no later than 4:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month. Nominations may be submitted by employees and citizens, except the 县管理员, 副县长, 县法官, Deputy/Assistant 县法官s and Commissioners. Self-nominations are not permitted.
记录审查: Personnel Records of each nominee will be reviewed by 人力资源 staff. Nominees with disciplinary actions either pending or during the nominating year or with an overall rating of “does not meet expectations” on the most recent performance evaluation shall not be considered for the award.
选择: Nominations will be reviewed and a selection made by the Senior Leadership Team. Once the employee is selected, the employee’s department will complete a short biography to be used for the awards presentation.
奖: 月度最佳员工 will receive a certificate and $25 cash award. Full-time employees will also receive one day of administrative leave with pay. Award will be presented at a Board of 县委员会 Meeting.
年度最佳员工
提名: Recipients of 月度最佳员工 奖 are eligible for this award. No other submissions will be accepted.
选择: 人力资源 will prepare a ballot containing the names and summary of each Monthly Award winner for that calendar year and post on the intranet. 投票s may be cast by any part-time or full-time Charlotte County BCC employee. Supervisors and Managers will ensure all employees have an opportunity to vote. Ballots will be posted for one full week: Wednesday through Tuesday. Voting will close at 11:59 p.m. 人力资源 will tabulate the results. 在平局的情况下, the 人力资源 Director, 县管理员, 副县长, and Assistant 县管理员 will make the final decision.
奖: 年度最佳员工 will receive a certificate and $100 cash award. Full-Time employees will also receive two days of administrative leave with pay. Award will be presented at a Board of 县委员会 Meeting.
